Sermon Series.
Every Sunday, our church family gathers to worship God around His Word. We sing praises to God, hear His Word preached, pray in response, and are sent out to live for His glory.
At C&C we follow sermon themes which tell the greater story of all things pointing towards Jesus.
So often, we look at the Christian life from an "either/or" perspective: either knowing or loving, either Scripture or experience, either the word or worship. But Psalm 119 doesn't give us that choice. Over the next six weeks of church, we'll be preaching through the longest psalm in the Bible. This song is packed full of emotion and brimming with love not just for God but specifically, His word. It challenges us to ask not just "how well do I know the Bible?" but "how deeply do I love it?" And it reveals that a true love for God is grounded in a deep love of His word.
WHO IS THIS KING
This broken world longs for a king - a king who isn't cruel or selfish but kind and selfless. Is there such a king? A king who rules over every political leader, natural force and spiritual power. A king who can heal sickness, bind Satan and forgive sins. A king who dies to save his people. What if there is a king who's more than just a man but the Son of God himself? Over the next four months, we'll meet King Jesus in Mark 1-8. And whatever our tribe or family, he invites us to follow him and join his kingdom.
BORN IS THE KING
Where is God? Do you ever feel that he is silent, absent or distant from our world? This Christmas, we're celebrating that God is not silent, God has come and God is with us! In Jesus, God became man and entered our world as one of us. The birth of Jesus Christ is the moment that the transcendent God stooped in love to bring hope to the hopeless, forgiveness to the sinner and joy to the world. As we journey through Luke 1-2, let's celebrate our sure and certain hope - Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, God with us!
HEART OF WISDOM
A new year brings new beginnings: a new degree, a new job, a new relationship or a new home 🌱 Over January, we'll find the wisdom we need to navigate these new beginnings. Wisdom is more than the skill of living well, it's about living with righteousness, justice and integrity. It doesn't tell us what to do; it transforms who we are—it makes us wise people from the inside out. 📖 In Proverbs 1-9, we'll discover that true wisdom is found in fearing the Lord—the God who created, sustains and saves our world—trusting the Lord Jesus Christ 🌏
Our church family doesn't just meet on Sundays, we also meet throughout the week in each others' homes across the Eastern suburbs.
BLTs are our mid-week small groups where we do life together. We share a meal, read and apply God's Word, encourage one another, and engage in mission together.
Our BLTs are for people who attend Cross & Crown. If you'd like to get involved, why not start by joining us for a Sunday service? If you're already part of Cross & Crown, you can sign up below. For a map of BLT locations, click here ->

If you'd like to find out more about why Jesus matters, why not sign up for our Life Explored course?
Meeting once a week for six weeks, we'll answer your questions about Christianity and answer the question, 'Where can I find true happiness?'
Life
Explored.
We relish the opportunity to rest and reflect on God's word with our church family at an annual Weekend Away.
It's a treasured time of the year where we marvel at the fellowship, community, and fulfilment found through the body of Christ – made possible solely through Jesus' work on the cross.
Weekend Away.
At C&C we exist as a family under for God, under God, and made possible by the redeeming love of the Father.
Life Together:
We meet at: Doncaster, Wantirna South, Canterbury, Box Hill, Mt Waverley, Balwyn
AnCon runs annually. It's a weekend where we go deeper into God's word by inviting a theologian to speak on a particular doctrine or theme of the Bible.
Annual Conference.
Get to know us.
At C&C we seek to turn our hearts, hands, and minds to live out our faith in the world. We're a diverse bunch with different stories to share but a common vision to see Jesus reign as the true King.
